| Whipper Snapper  |  Hey Y'all! Newbie Here :) I'm Anna, 32, and just got my surgery date yesterday. My DH is in the Army and will be deploying for a year (or more) 4 days before I am scheduled for my RNY. I'm a little upset at this glitch, but I'm sure it will work out. My DS who is 8 will be able to help me some and hopefully my friends will be able to visit me in the hospital and bring him too.

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Anna!! Wow...this is soooo exciting about your up coming surgery! There are soooo many of you about to have surgery...or JUST had surgery!! Ya'll are gonna love being sooooo close in surgery dates! There are a few of us from last March-May....and we've all enjoyed seeing and relating to one another on our journey's! About your husbands deployment....I'm sooo sorry - but in the same moment thankful! Thankful that he is in the military...and serving & fighting for our freedoms as Americans! Thanks to you too for serving...you too are a hero to us....you are brave, and support this man in his endeavors! I love to praise Pillows/Janae all the time...b/c it's hard being a military wife! On the side of him going away just after your surgery....OMG! He is NOT going to recognize you when he returns!!!! My husband still looks across the room at me sometimes and double takes...we talk about it all the time at how he sometimes barely recognize me...and he's gone thru every day with me for the past 8mos!!! So...tell us about YOU!!! As for me...I'm Deborah. I'm 38, married with one 3 yo daughter. I live in NYC...and had my surgery on April 19th of 2006. I've lost about 118#'s....and have about 65#'s to go. I'm soooo thankful for this surgery! Wow...I've gone from a 32 to an 18 on bottom (squeezin in a 16) and a 14 top. I've been married to my LOVE for 7.5 yrs....hmmmmm.....what else?! Love to get to know you better.... Oh!!! Don't forget to take your before pictures....it makes a difference. Here are my most recent....from 7mos post op.
