Default I Need Support to Make It Thru the Week

If I can make it thru this week, I can do anything!! And RR family, I need support from you!! There is food everywhere . Each day at work, a team is responsible for bringing "goodies" for everyone. We've had homemade muffins, donuts, cookies, juices, bagels with cream cheese, etc. But today, the team in charge had an omelet station, quiche, brownies, homemeade bread, sausage links, bacon, and other stuff. On top of that, I had to attend a retirement luncheon today, our Christmas luncheon is tomorrow, and we have a birthday luncheon on Friday. Can't we party without having to have so much food involved? Next week, including Christmas Day, is going to be soooo easy compared to this week.

RR family, I just need some support to help me make it without over-indulging and gaining weight.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

YOU CAN DO IT. Just make sure that there is something that you can eat. Even if you have to make it yourself. I am facing some of the same things with family. Seems we cant get together without food being involved. You have done well so far. I got faith in ya that you will do just fine. Just a bite or two of something might be all you want anyway. Just dont try too many bites. lol Hang in there it will be over soon.

Fight food with food!! Bring something from home that you can turn to when all that other crap starts calling your name. If you munch a few pieces of jerky, it'll be hard to force down a chocolate chip cookie.

Watch out for the killer rum balls!!! Alcohol hits much much harder after surgery!!

OMG....it's all about food this time of year, isn't it, hun? Sheesh. You can always bring a veggie plate. You look great, have done well, and I am sure you can continue to, but plan, plan, plan.
Have a wonderful Christmas - enjoy!

I feel you 100%! I'm in the same situation, so I take a nice glass of crystal light, and socialize. Yesterday, one dept had 4 long tables of junk! ..Rotel dip (Lord help me!) every kind of cake, cookies, pies, meatballs, the whole works. I talked to a couple of people and left. Take time to talk to everybody, it will take your mind off the food. Sip, sip, sip. The big ole water bottle is so noticible that I pour my drink into a water goblet and decorate it with fruit, swizzle sticks, or an umbrella. Also, get a dessert plate for your food, it won't hold much more than you can eat if you keep it vertical instead of piled horizontally. I'm soooo glad I have a bariatric support group luncheon today to get some strength. The week is almost over, hang in there!

Thanks everybody. Just 2 more days and I'll be all right. Believe it or not, I'm actually tired of even looking at food . On top of that, my sup asked me to make a pan of macaroni & cheese for her last night.

Like I said -- just two more days!!!

CT, I'll definitely watch out for the rum balls!!!
