Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Ruby first relax. Make sure your choosing heathly options. Maybe you should contact your surgeon. Remember not everyone has the dumping syndrome. And its normal to have a bigger appetite than right after your surgery. Its also normal it a weight stall at about 2months I know I did!!! Sorry your stressing but relaxing might help and welcome!!

Welcome to the board, rubyhenry, thank you for joining us.
I am splitting your post and giving you an independent thread so you can get many welcomes, and helping thoughts without getting them mixed up with others.

Congratulations on joining the loser's bench.

About your appetite and eating.
Yes, as your pouch heals, your appetite will increase, and you will find that you can eat more kinds of food.
You need to be aware that for the first few months, you can't eat, not because the surgery changes the wiring of your brains so you won't eat--because that is NOT what this surgery does, this is only a tool, and you need to change the wiring of your brain on your own--but because your body and pouch is healing from the major surgery and is still in recovery. Early out, your body will take what it needs to heal, but as the months go by, you will find your brain taking over. That is when the hard work starts.
You need to eat what is good for your body, not what you can.
You also need to keep aware of the amount you eat.
Eat proteins first, you need 60-80 grams of protein. Also drink a lot of water, many surgeons say 64oz or more.
Use baby size cups and spoons to limit the amount you eat consciously, chew, chew, chew.

Go back and confrim the instructions of your surgeon. Stay with it, don't venture out on your own yet.
Get a consult with a dietitian/nutritionist who is familiar with gastric bypass.
Find a local support group that you can attend.
These are a few things that you should attempt at.

Oh, and don't depend on dumping to keep you from eating what you shouldn't. The fact is, only around 40% have dumping, the rest do not.

(((((((HUGS)))))) May your journey go well.
