Hi Everyone,
I am excited to be a part of this forum.
Today was my pre-op appt I cant believe its almost here.I am scheduled for my Roux en Y on March 11th. I am anxious, excited and now a little nervous. I think what I am most affraid of is the actual surgery and will I make it through it? As a nurse you would think I would be less anxious I have no major medical problems so I know I will be fine. Ok well enough of that. I have learned so much and enjoyed reading everyones post. Soon I to will be on the other side. I have been trapped in this body long enough!!I am ready to enjoy life and play with my boys without getting SOB (short of breath)

Hi Butterfly, I think I was most worried about making it through the surgery as well. I even videotaped a message and only told one person where it was "just in case!" But everything went well and here I am almost 3 months post op and now by biggest worry is that I will just stop losing and never "really" get thin! But that too isn't true, as long as the rules are followed! You will do fine and be thankful for the choices you have made in the end, as I am. Welcome and enjoy your new journey, it's an incredible one!
