Welcome to the boards! My time seemed to fly by but actually it took me a while before I had my actual surgery. I did my consultation in April 2009, had months of testing and then had my surgery 5 months later and in some respects that is pretty fast. Don't worry, they are no leading you on. The whole point is they need to make sure that everything is ok and there is no underlying problems before this is done. And insurance is a big issue; they take FOREVER to process a request for a Band-Aid. But some also play the "I-wonder-if-we-stall-long-enough-will-they-give-up" game. Just keep going to your appointments and doing what is required so that they see you intend on following thru with it, no matter what. Good luck and hang in there, soon you will have a date!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

It has taken me 2 years just to get an approval,I was rejected twice but after the last rejection my husband called and was finally told our DR. wasn't coding it properly. Just don't get discouraged it will happen for you.
