Im soo exited and anxious and nervious. But at last i will have a tool to help me lose some more weight, I have POCD, and i have a cloting disorder and all kind of medical predispositions due to family medical history, Not sure if my hubby stands fully by my choice here at times it feel like he is at time he gives me all kinds of reasons why i should not get it done.

Its major surgery , definelty a scary thought to us and our spouses , its a normal reaction...COngratualtions on you surgery date though , things will mellow out once it all sinks in usually ..he loves you and just wants whats best for you I am sure ,let him read things here and help him understand more...good luck !

Thank you. i just try not to talk about it to much at home. I let him as questions, but i as well started doing the excersice regiment he wants to train me. Thank you

Diane,
What kind of clotting disorder do you have (if you don't mind my asking)? I have Factor V Leiden and am wondering if it will be much of an issue for my surgeon. I've been told by the nurses that many other people have had the surgery with clotting issues, that they just take extra precautions. Just curious how everything is going for you.
Congrats on getting your surgery date! I have my consult April 2 and will get an official date then. I am excited and nervous!

I have anti trhombin III and protein S deficiencies, My Dr incerted and IVF filter in my Vena cava the same day he removed my gallbladder on Feb 2 2010, i have had superficial venal thrombosis but no deep vain clots thank goodness but he said that the filter would help prevent clots from going to my lungs heart and brain if the where to form, Along with the other little things that they add to the legs, i call them inflatables cause the reming me of the things you put on kids in the swiming pool when they are learning to swim just for your legs. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.
