First I want to say that I wouldn't have been able to make it through this without you guys, and I thank you for that. I have made a visit to my surgeons office yesterday and I have lost 13 pounds already but most importantly is my diabetes is now almost under control already my dr says that I should be off all medication within the month. I have no regrets at all, my recovery is going well and even though I had some special circumstances I am still right on schedule. I am sipping and walking like suggested and I must say the walking really helps. Lana - I tried to PM you b4 surgery and after, I guess you didnt get it cuz it said it didnt go through, thanks for everything. I missed you guys I must say, I know my daughter is tired of hearing me talk about all of you. It's good to be back!!!!!!!

I am so glad things went good for you , you sound so positive already ! I was off insulin within 3 weeks out and then januvia shortly after that , down to 2 metformin a day , I have a physical monday , hoping to rid of all diabetes meds then...also I am off of a couple water pills , its amazing how this surgery resolves health issues so fast ! Keep up the great work
