Default First Time In 15 Years Under 200 Pounds

I am 5 pounds away from being under 200 pounds. To most of you who have lost 100's of pounds this sounds funny I am sure. But I am majorly excited just at the thought of seeing that scale weigh 199. Not even my goal but 199!

It's funny because when I weighed 160 and 170 I thought I was destined to be fat forever. And then when I weighed 260 I thought ok enough of this! I worked hard to lose weight on my own before the surgery. I keep thinking if only when I weighed 170 orr 180 if I had got things under control then how much better my life would have been. Funny how you get perspective alot of times when you are so far from the goal and yet when I was so close I chose to do nothing.

I know you can't go back and regrets are useless. But I am very excited about seeing the 199 number. To me it will mean I am finally in control again.

I am 3 weeks post op and I can really see a great light at the end of this "fat" journey for myself. I am going to join a gym and I have been walking my bum off. I have lost 20 pounds in 3 weeks. I am feeling very tired and this drink drink drink is driving me crazy it is so time consuming. But I just keep focusing on that 199! laughing

I ask you all to bare with my whining occasionally. I am a real whiner at heart! But this is a great site and I have gained alot of information and insight from those who have gone before me. Thanks for your support!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Good job!!! Now, just make sure you are getting in your quota of protein and water before you start working out hard at the gym, because you need to provide your body with the proper nutrients for good workouts to be most effective and to prevent unwanted injuries.

Please please please before you start working out, use the week before you actually do to start increasing your protein intake. It is VERY important to have a higher protein intake when you start increasing exercise!

Keep up the great work and the awesome inner motivation!!!

You are doing GREAT!

Rainbows...you just wrote my story, friend.

I thought I was a big fat mess @ 170 at age 18. For 25 years, from 25 to 50, it was my dream to be simply under 199.

Congratulations on your success thus far. It feels great...yes?

I know exactly how you feel!! I'm just 20 lbs away from being under 300, I haven't been under 300 in about 6 years, I can't wait to see that 299, and that won't even be halfway to me goal!
