Hi Im Rachel. I am preop right now and am going back to the doctors soon to finishing scheduling. I just recentley went through the sleep apnea and psych. evaluation and all went well. so in due time.

Yes, patience is a virtue when you are pre-op, but just remember that ONLY GOOD THINGS WILL COME INTO YOUR LIFE AFTER THAT. The waiting game is very hard, when you know what is in store for you afterwards. IT'S A VERY MEMORABLE JOURNEY TO TAKE, BUT ONE THAT IS ALMOST KINDA SCARY TO. In a good way that is. Once the weight really starts coming off, and you are starting to see major results, YOU ARE ON A HIGH, TOTALLY. Take it from alot of us here on the site. It's good to get to know everyone here, for the simple reason, all the pre-ops have people to lean on for the before gitters, and you can use the post-ops for support with after issues you may have. So, everyone, in one way or another, helps each other here. WE ARE ONE BIG HAPPY, LOSING FAMILY. Glad that you found this site. Please take advantage of it. Keep us posted on any questions or gitters you have. mike |

well i got my psch evaluation set up yesterday for feb. 16 and im going to go up and fill out some paperwork today. my only issue right now is that im becoming highly impatient. and like someone said ^ up there, patience is indeed a virtue and im continually telling myself that but sometimes i just wanna say screw that!  i feel like ive finally been given this chance at an entire new life and the longer i wait, the farther away it gets. i've been overweight since birth, seriously and this is my last chance at something i've never had.  sigh, i dont know. just going through some serious emotions right now.-rach
