Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Welcome to the board, thank you for joining us.
Please pull up a chair and make yourself at home, you're sure to find lots of useful info and input here.

Are you on 2 weeks of liquid diet? Different surgeons have different requirements for pre op preparation. The pre op diet is for you to lose some weight and make your liver smaller so your surgery will be safer. Hang in there, you are about to start the ride of your life.

(((((((HUGS))))))) May your journey go well.

P.S. I have moved your thread from the original forum you posted to here in Your Profiles, the place to say hi to everyone.

Hi Mitch. Glad that you found us!
Yup the before WLS can be tough as well as the anticipation of the event.
Speaking for myself, it was worth it all x10.
I am at a place (good) in my life that I wasn't sure I'd ever see again.
Good luck and keep us posted.

Mitch,
Hello! Welcome to RR! This is a great place to find answers to all your questions, and make some great friends!
I am not on the pre-op diet, nor did I have to be on one before my surgery, but right now, I am on the post-op full liquid diet, and I feel your pain! If I smell another cup of chicken broth cooking, im going to VOMIT!!!! Is your diet a clear liquid diet, or just full liquid? I can drink decaf coffee, and eat sugar free popcicles, which are the highlight of my day!!! Especially the sugar free fudgcicles! But if you want a sweet snack that is still considered "liquid", I got these popcicles from the store, and they are sugar free but they are lifesavers flavored, they are really good, and no sugar! and they will satisfy a sweet tooth.
Hope this helps! Have a good day.

You will love it here. Anything imaginable that you need to know, someone has either experienced it, knows of one who has or can direct you in the right direction. Then there is always Doc, I learn so much just reading her responses. Good luck with the 'diet'. What exactly are you allowed for the 2 weeks?
