| Super Moderator  |  Welcome to the board, thank you for joining us. Please pull up a chair and make yourself at home, you're sure to find lots of useful info and input here. Are you on 2 weeks of liquid diet? Different surgeons have different requirements for pre op preparation. The pre op diet is for you to lose some weight and make your liver smaller so your surgery will be safer. Hang in there, you are about to start the ride of your life. I am not on the pre-op diet, nor did I have to be on one before my surgery, but right now, I am on the post-op full liquid diet, and I feel your pain! If I smell another cup of chicken broth cooking, im going to VOMIT!!!! Is your diet a clear liquid diet, or just full liquid? I can drink decaf coffee, and eat sugar free popcicles, which are the highlight of my day!!! Especially the sugar free fudgcicles! But if you want a sweet snack that is still considered "liquid", I got these popcicles from the store, and they are sugar free but they are lifesavers flavored, they are really good, and no sugar! and they will satisfy a sweet tooth.
