Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass    |  neewbie My name is Terri and I had RNY Laproscopic surgery on August 22,2005. I had problems as I had roux syndrome which is where the vavle going to the new stomach doesn't push food through properly. I spent a lot of time eating shrimp and tuna at first but can eat better now. I can't eat things like pork chops or most beef but can eat most everything else now. I have lost 110 pounds as of this week and have lost 10 pant sizes. I started in womens 26 and am now in a 16. I found that I have been dealing with a lot of mood swings. I had my doctor double my Prozac for awhile and that seems to be helping.

Height:  | wow, Terri, you are a hero to me. That is so great what you have accomplished so far. I am at the biting my nails and waiting stage for my surgery on April 4th in Philly. I am sorry to hear that you had some complication with it, but am glad to hear that it is better now. Doesn't it feel great to be able to go shopping for a size 16 now? I know I am doing it for my health, but the whole shopping for new clothes thing is gonna be a BIG motivator for me too. I love shopping. Well, I will check in on ya later, but take care. Janae |
