Congratulations on your surgery date! My date is the 14th so we'll be a day apart! That will be cool to have a surgery buddy. I too am excited but not so much nervous except for the after part, I have 3 little ones who demand my attention and time so it'll be interesting to see how they respond to mommy not being able to do much but walk with them.
Anyway, please feel free to ask away, someone has most likely been there and done that so no question is too silly.
Lots of luck and i'll be waiting to see how you do these next couple of weeks.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

This is very sound advice

Congratulations on getting your date, you are in for the ride of your life. Good luck and hang on tight

I think it will be great to have a surgery buddy! I don't have small children. I have grown chidren. but I do have a golden retriever that likes to play. I've started the pre- surgery diet. I wish you luck with your surgery. I will keep you in my prayers and I look forward to hearing from you.

I agree with Barbie purchasing too much in advance may not be that good for you. I purchased a couple of cases of protein shakes and jello. After surgery I didn't use that much and gave quite a bit of it away.

You will be just fine following your surgeons advice. Good Luck!

I agree with Barbie - just the smell of vanilla makes me sick at my stomach now. Besides - you're not going to be housebound! You will want to get out a little!
