I have had a problem with BCBS ok'ing me for Lap Band surgery since October. They said I had to get my BMI down to 50 before approval. After some soul searching and some research I have decided to have the Gastric bypass. I was getting nowhere fast trying to lose weight to get down to the Banding level and I think I may have lost my nerve so I want to thank you all on this site for your stoeis and support. I am schedualed for March 5th so I am ready to begin this new journey. no signature yet too new.
