Hi All!! I made it!! Had my laproscopic poximal bypass surgery and removal of gall bladder at same time. Had surgery Mar.8th around 12pm and came home on Mar. 9th around 1pm. So far have had no problems. Have been getting fliuds in, even tho. they seem to stick in throat due to sweeling from ventilator. My legs and feet are very swollen from being in reversed trundelenberg bed. (Feet down) Ran a low grade temp. last night, but that's been fine today. Was able to take shower by myself with hubby close by to help if I needed it. Have been walking and doing small things. I'm surprised I feel so well. I have to keep looking at the poke holes to make sure I had it done and not a dream.  So now get this weight off and begin my new life!!  I had my three special Angels with me and they saw me thru this. Along with my hubby, close friends and the info. I've gleened from forum. All of you were and are a inspiration to me, and I thank you!!  Take care, Kathy

Thank you all for the sweet encouraging replies. I'm a little more tender at some of the poke sites, but ne redness, swelling or discharge. Now I'm just kinda slow motion, but get up and walk, and climbed stairs. Sipping every 15 min. as per orders. I found little red espresso cups and saucers, so I take sips from them with my pinky held out. Feel like a princess.ROFL Seems like more edema off today, will weigh after shower. Take care, Kathy
