| Newbie  |  New Here Hello, I am new here as you can tell and if iam doing this wrong please forgive me  . I learned of renewed reflections from my new buddy Freebird. Iam 36 yrs old and I weigh 377lbs Iam in the midst of waiting for approval from my health insurance to have WLS in the states with Dr. O'malley in Rochester New York. Freebird if you think you would miss Carleton Place if you blinked then you really would miss Perth cause we are smaller  lol. I have to older sisters that i have not told about me wanting WLS and its not cause they aren't supportive they are and always have been but, with all my medical problems they will just worry. My mother and father know they support me and my decision and understand that this maybe extreme but, maybe this is what I need to learn how to eat healthier. I miss out on so much because of my weight and I don't want to miss out on anything else. I love cats especially my big boy he is 26 Lbs and his name is " Bear" I wonder if he would qualify for WLS  . I love listening to music, reading suspense thrillers and hanging out with my friends. Iam looking forward to getting to know as many people here as I can . Iam also looking forward to the future journey iam about to embark on .Quote:

Hi canadianblues, welcome, it was fun chatting with you. (I'll be moving into chat soon.) Glad to hear your parents are supportive of you, and I hope you will find a way to tell your sisters and have them rooting for you as well. You know Craig--the Guru--and Leslie, his wife, have a couple of cats, Miss Kitty and Junior, and I do tell you, the last time I saw those puds--as they call them-- they were getting HUGE, I swear! As a matter of fact, I am secretly wondering if the truth about Craig's recent back trouble was because Junior gave him a jump kick So, what kind of music do you listen to? You know, Craig has a band called Big T and the Bada-Bings. (He calls me his groupie where this band is concerned, and I give him a kick in you know where unless he calls me No.1 groupie ) Which reminds me, don't forget to sign up in the newbies contest if you haven't already. And who's your favorite author? I love mysteries so I'm always on the lookout for an interesting read. (((((HUGS))))) to you, may your journey go well!

Hey Canada Great to have you here. I don't feel as lonely now that there are a few canadians coming here, (although i am an adopted NYer, hey maybe you can be one too i'll ask friend. I heard that people and their pets tend to look like one another.....enough said. I have two cats. One is proly about 20lbs. And yes Doc i can see how a jump kick from one of these big boys would take out a back. hehe. Anyway, you'll get your approval soon i'm sure.
