Cool Obsessive about my scale

Okay I really know that I have issues. I have been literally weighing myself 4-5 times a day since my surgery...I think at first it was because I was so excited to see weight come off that it was fun and made me happy...Now I'm completely obsessive....and the worst part is I can't just put the scale away...because I've tried to and I get it down every time I go into my bathroom. Am I completely nuts, should I go to Scale lookers anonymous, I don't know why I am acting so weird. I know the weight is coming off slower so I'm a little sad but mentally I am causing all of this....I'm such a bonehead!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Awwww (((((((HUGS)))))))
Everbody's been there at least once...or twice...oh, heck of a lot of times. You're perfectly normal there, but it would be better if you could just throw it away.
Those who don't keep scales at home often do so on purpose because they know they'll obsess if there was one at home. The hubby hid the scale for one person that I know.

Honey the only scale I worry about is my kitchen scale---that is where you get into trouble---

I don't even own a scale----bathroom one that is.....

you are perfectly normal in your obsession-----but hopping off and on 4-5 times a day is only gonna drive you nuts----especially when you hit a plateau----
and you are stressing over the numbers and stress leads to over eating and making poor food choices and going on a binge----which will only compound the problem---

so linit yourself to once a week MAX!!!

I know for me the scale was a problem.
I had to get off it cause when it wasnt moveing
it effected my mood for the day.
ITS not easy
but ur totally normal we go thru this!
I put it down at a certain point to once a week
and now i barely peak!

HANG in there !

I am the same way and I am 4 years out! In the begging I was driving myself crazy, I would be so upset if the scale was not moving, and early out I would go weeks without losing a single pound.

Now I have to weigh myself everyday, because if I don't I slip up and gain weight, it keeps me in check.

Been there ( still kinda there) I was in the same boat and sometimes I still am although I have gotten better about it. Please don't freak out about its a normal response when you see the weight coming off so quickly. Just don't get to upset when it stops coming off so fast!!
