Hi everyone, I'm Sue, 42 years old from NC. I had RNY on March 10, 2011 so less than 2 weeks out. Did the liquid diet for 2 weeks prior to surgery...I'm down 20 pounds.
The biggest problem for me has been giving up my diet coke!!!!
looking forward to getting to know everyone here

Oh and you'll get used to not having those diet cokes, I was addicted to them and gave them up about 3 weeks before surgery and have lived to tell about it.

I miss soda too. I was told if I let it "go flat" I could drink it. (But, I haven't.)
I am 7 weeks out. The time goes more quickly than you think.
