Has anyone here ever been approved for weight loss surgery with great lakes health plan in mi? I am just trying to get started with the weight loss surgery. At this point i feel whatever i have to do i will do to get the surgery. I had my pcp check on the insurance guidelines and my pcp told me i have to be on a 12 month supervised weight loss plan with him first. To be honest I'm still quite confused on all that i have to do in order to be able to get it. But i started the 12 supervision just last month that leaves me 11 more visits
but i want to make sure i do everything i am supposed to do so when my 12 months is up i wont get let down cause i will be really hurt
I have been struggling with my weight for sooo long. Every since i was a child. I have always been over weight. I am 5 3' and i weigh 265 lbs. I am 30 years old. I have had four children and i am at the point of my life where i want to lose all the access baggage and be comfortable with myself and enjoy my kids and my life. I cant have anymore children so i feel there is no better time than now to get in shape. So if anyone could help me with info about great lakes health plan in mi i would greatly appreciate it.
