I have posted a few responses, but hadn't properly introduced myself yet. I am in the early stages of getting my RNY scheduled. I have meet with the psycholgist and have my appointment with the surgeon set for this coming Monday. I look forward to getting to know you all better as I make this journey to a new skinner me.

I started with my Dr. visits and testing 5 months ago, thought my surgery date would never get here but everything goes by so quickly. I had my surgery 2 weeks ago and feeling so good. Hi ladyhawk, as you know Im Vickie. I have seen you in other post and thought well shes been around so...... LOL. If you like me your comfortable here. You can tell that by how much I reply. Its giving me somthing to do for me HERE. Its my own private world without letting others around me in. Does that make any sense? The ones Im speaking of is my friends and family. I think we probally can relate more to each other here than to anyone else we know because of the weight and how it plays such a big part of our lives. Even just the little things. Good luck on the appoitment. I have seen 2 Drs so far and sticking with the second one. Just remember if you dont like the one you see first you can go see a different one. Im sure glad I did. Welcome Ladyhawk good to have you around. I am new too and waiting to hear from my insurance. This board is so wonderful so much infomation and kind people. I too love coming here. My post are everywhere but however I did warn everyone that once they let me in I would be around and around and around. I find peace in coming here and learning and just sharing with everyone.
