My name is Cassidy. I've been perusing this site for weeks now, but for some reason it only now occured to me that i should just join. I began my journey on March 21rst, 2011. I had the roux n y proceedure and really do think it was one of the best decisions i have made.
I'm not very far out, i only weigh myself when i am weighed at the doctors, and i feel focused and healthier already. I have started the gym and implementing new eating habbits into my life.
I think what i am mostly interested in is the support i can receive on this site outside of the support groups i attend and the girls i was in workshop with. I don't get to see them that often and while i thought i had a lot of support through family and friends, i realized once i got home and into my routine, that a lot of the people i am around daily do not understand how much this changes a person.
So yes, support and recipes! Lots of recipes. I am in the middle of my 6th week. I must say, i miss brown rice!
