In 9/06 I will be 3 years post-op. My surgery was done with a laser, which helped me avoid being cut and have a speedy recovery. I'm still in the process of learning my likes and dislikes in the area of food. I 'm 20 lbs from goal weight and am now dealing with what made me fat in the first place. When ever asked about the surgery because people look at me and see a woman almost 180 lbs lighter I dont advocate the procedure because there is no guarantee that they would not have complications. I tell them to research and realize that if they dont deal with the issues that made them fat they will just go from misusing food to misusing something else. That where I'm at now. I look forward to hearing your experiences.

sounds like you are on the right track, The challenge now is that huge distance of about 18 inches from the head to the heart. I know how frustrating it can be with my head full of knowledge of all of the right things yet at some point have to put them into action.
