Red face 2 days post op

Hello, again, everyone!
Thanks so much for the encouraging words and advise, it really, really helped! Well, my surgery was 4/24 at 10 a.m. and I was home today (4/26) at 10 a.m. The surgeon stated that everything went really, really well. The only issue that was mentioned to me about surgery was that the surgeon did slightly "nick" my liver. However, it was so minor he was considering not even telling me about it. I truly was on a liquid diet for 3 days prior to surgery to make my liver smaller, but I guess these things happen. So, besides that issue, I feel pretty good. My tummy is a bit sore, but my back is killing me! The hospital bed and I were not compatible!
I hope everyone else that had surgerys on the 24th are also doing well! You were definitely in my thoughts and prayers.
-Jessica

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hi Jessica, Glad to hear all went well with your surgery(except for the little nip!!) Take things easy right now, I know I was so full of energy when I first came home--once my drain was out I was out the door, shopping etc. Then the following weeks I got so tired. Just don't push too hard--you did just have a major surgical precedure. When your body says rest-rest. I'm out 4 wks today and feeling good(except I have two herniated disc in my neck that are giving me a lot of pain--going to see the surgeon .
Watch and see the great results begin now that you've had your surgery!!
Good luck to you! DianeB

Jessica, welcome to the losing side. I am just over 4 weeks out and know how excited you are. One piece of advice. Stick to your plan and do not try to get ahead of yourself on what you are supposed to eat. I did and now I have to go back 3 steps and have just Full Liquids for the next 4 days. I should have listened. You are in for the greatest experience of your life and here is where you have support 24/7. I couldn't make it if I didn't have all of these wonderful friends at Renewed Reflections. Good luck.

Hi Donna, you are right to tell Jessica not to eat things until the time she is suppose to. I made sure I didn't even read the upcoming week food list so I wouldn't be tempted. I make sure I measure everything out and eat just what I'm suppose to, my problem is I have a hard time eatting SLOWLY! The other day it caught up with me--I threw up !! YUK! Now I make sure I eat real slow. Sorry to hear you had to go back to liquids, hope you are feeling better. DianeB---out 4 weeks
