 |  New to the forum and waiting on operation date!
Hi! I am a 34 years old and am ready to change my life by having Gastric Bypass Surgery. I had my first appt with the surgeon yesterday and just felt awesome about him and his staff. He told me they were sending a letter to insurance and would let me know when they hear from them. I have 3 of the comorbidies and decent insurance, so let's all pray it goes through. My date should be within the next 4-8 weeks and I hope it is 4.
My hubby had the surgery two years ago and my best friend had it a year and a half ago so I am ready to be the skinny yet healthy one now...
I have my first nutrition meeting on Tuesday for four hours. I am so excited. I am ready for this journey and would love to find someone to share their experiences, to experience this with me, and to just support.
I am going to try and do better with keeping up with the forum, but I am really good at email as well. Any advice, suggestions, I am ready for them.

Good to hear of the good going on your surgeon's appt, and may your be able to get your date soon.
That is so great that your DH and your best friends had surgery, they are sure to be your greatest supporters, but we here on the board hope to be as good a one as them.
