Actually, I'm acquainted with Craig ... he & his wife used to attend my church and he and my boss/best friend have been friends for quite a while. That's what makes this an even bigger surprise for me! Although I knew he'd had WLS, I didn't know about this site. I'm excited to have found you and I will stop by the Welcome Wagon.

Hey Deb, I don't know much about Dallas, but I really loved San Antonio when I was there for my hubby's Basic Training Graduation for the Air Force. I actually wanted to be stationed there at Lackland, but we ended up in New Jersey, so I am just having to learn to love it here. It is really neat that you go to the same church as Craig. We all have a very high opinion of him on this website. Janae |

One thing's for sure ... there's no place like Texas ... whatever part you're in! I grew up near Wash. DC so I've been to "Jersey" quite a few times. It's nice out in the country. All of New England is beautiful. I hope you enjoy your time there. Being in the military, you'll get to move around and see a lot of the world. I married a Texas cowboy and Texas is where I'll live and die! LOL!

Yeah, I have a feeling I will eventually migrate back to my home state eventually when he leaves the military. I am enjoying having the variety of experiences, but I miss my Idaho mountains and porch squatting. Janae |
