I havent been journaling my food for the last couple months so i decided to start again today to see if i was eating to much getting all my protien in etc well good news is i will have 80.2 g protein and 1160 calories so i guess thats okay but i know i have eaten 1200-1400 calories on a good day over the last few months which is why i have only lost 13 lbs since Sept i guess and also i realize i am at the time when its going to be harder to lose the weight . I think my biggest problem is the weight came of so quickly the first 12 months and have slowed down alot i get frustrated and depressed but i guess i didnt put it on in a year or even 2 so if it takes 2 or 3 years to reach my goal i will be okay

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

We all get spoiled, don't we, with that quick loss. I'm alot less far out than you, and I've only lost about 10 pounds the last month. That being said, I use a website myfitnesspal. com where you can track (accurately as far as I can tell) both home and restaurant foods. I don't know why I get surprised by the carb calories in things, even in small amounts. Don't get depressed, this is a long journey rather than a sprint. We're all in it with you, and every day is a new opportunity to make a difference!

Your calorie and protein balance is wonderful. It may be slow, but you will lose quite a few more lbs.
Keep up the good work!!!

OMGosh, you have done so good. And you're right, if it takes a year or two who cares! At least the scale isn't going in the opposite direction like it did for us before.
Keep up the great work, have patience and you'll get where you're going.

The quick weight loss = the "honeymoon period." I so enjoyed that, and now I will have to be strict with calorie counting and journaling to lose the rest. I am determined...
THe other day in support group a girl spoke about 2 or 3 people she works with. All had RNY and went to nutrition classes etc... and all regained the weight they had lost plus more. I just couldn't believe it. But the speaker said these people weren't following the "rules" and went back to old habits. I don't know how I could ever eat that much... it seems so revolting to me now.
You are right, we didn't gain it over night and we won't lose it over night..It is an forever ongoing thing, isn't it?
