My name is Michael. I'm from Fall River, MA. I have decided to start my weight loss journey. It is my Christmas Present to my wife and I. If anyone has any good info on Boston Surgeons, please feel free to pass it my way. so many facilities here, not sure where to start.

Hi Mike! I'm originally from the south shore, live up on the north shore now. Norwood hospital has a really great program. I went through North Shore Medical center in Salem (which is probably way to far for you), and my surgeon was WONDERFUL!
What a great Christmas present to both you and your wife! Congrats on the start of your journey!

Hi there and welcome to RR. I don't have any information on doctors/programs around your area. Just research them on the internet and attend their information sessions. Check out more than one and go with who you feel comfortable with. Also, try asking your primary care doctor (if you have one). They frequently will know the better programs to have you check out. Michael, I agree with Nancy,,, research the surgeons and programs online and the attend some information seminars. Bring your questions along with you like... How many surgeries have you done?, What is your track record? etc.

Hi Mike! I had my surgery at Mass General. They have a wonderful program there and all of the surgeons came highly recommended. Dr. Hutter did my surgery and he was wonderful. I would recommend the Mass General program to anyone having WLS hands down.
