Default Hey, I feel like such a stranger!!

I haven't really been on here much except to kind of read and check up on everyone. I have had a lot going on in the past few months. My dad passed on the day after Thanksgiving. I feel slightly depressed between work, dad passing, and my mom's anniversary 1 week before Christmas.

On the plus side, I am down 113lbs!!! Woohoo....can't believe it. I am 29 lbs from being in ONEDERLAND!!!! My 30th birthday is coming up soon so maybe by then I will be there. Crossing fingers.

I just need help getting back on track with working out. I find myself battling myself to work out. I blame it on feeling depressed and I don't know if it is something temporary or something I should see a doctor about. I go for my 6 month check up in a couple weeks. Hopefully everything is good like it was on my 3 month check up.

Well, I justwanted to say hi. Hope I haven't been forgotten and check out my new badge....CENTURY CLUB!!!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hi there!!
Way to go on the weight loss!!
I'm thinking just go work out even if you don't feel like it, usually when I'm down a good work out helps me out a lot. But talking to your doctor about it is a very good idea too.

Don't be such a stranger!!

Hi and welcome back!
I'm sorry to hear about your losses and can relate to your sorrow and depression as I lost my mom in September. It's been only the last week & 1/2 that I've felt good enough to start working out again.
If your depression is affecting your every day life then I think you should see your doctor. You may need something to help get you through your rough patch whether it be an antidepressant or grief counseling or both.
Congratulations on your weight loss! I think you'll be in onederland in no time! Hugs

Good to see you.
Sorry about your father, but I am sure he will want you to be happy.
Yes, if your depression interferes with you functioning well, it is better to talk with your dr.

Sorry to about your father.
Glad you popped back in to let everyone know how your doing. Congratulations on the weight loss. I have read exercise can help with depression, but I couldn't say that with tons of confidence as I'm not a good example of working out. But I plan to do better! Again glad your back!

Thanks everyone....I think I do need to see my doctor about it. I am missing work and I am just so easy to anger. I'd love to blame it on the surgery and the changes in hormones but I really think it's deeper than that. I will keep trucking and I won't count these first 2 months of the year. My year will begin on Feb 28th and my 30th birthay!!! Woohoo.

Sorry to hear about some of the bad things happening in your life. I know they are bringing you down. But on the upside, congrats to you for not making the excuse that it was ok to not follow the rules because of those things happening. You were able to make it through with both feet on the ground. Good job on the weight loss and the new badge!
