|  My husband and myself had gastric bypass the same day!!!
And first off our surgeon didn't want us to do it the same day but we did. We had surgery on 12-14-2011. He weighed 394lbs and I weighed 248lbs. This morning he was 344 and I was 212. We go for our 1 month check up on 1/26, its a week late because doc is on vacation. There have been some big changes around this house but it is all for the better.

It has actually been alittle nerve racking. Our Dr had us terrified of food at first. We have just now got to where we really try food. I have figured out what will make me sick and what will make him sick so that has really helped. Now we are not really scared to eat in general just now we know what not to eat.
