Totally and completely normal. Do a search in the archives using the key word "stall".
You'll be fine.

Welcome to the board, thank you for joining us.
Congratulations on joining the Losers' Bench.
(((((HUGS))))) May your journey go well.
You will lose in humps and bumps, not in one smooth fell swoop. Just make sure you are getting in all the water and protein you are requred to, and you'll be fine.

Stalls will hit you out of the blue throughout your journey. They will send most people (like me!) into panic mode, but they do pass when your body has readjusted itself. Hang in there and you're doing great!!

Don't worry. This happens to many of us. Just keep drinking, eating your protein and moving around as much as you can. You will lose again soon.

You're not doing anything wrong, these stalls will happen. Just keep doing what you're supposed to.
Welcome to the group, and best of luck on your weight loss journey.

You are doing GREAT.
At this point it is scary. Everything has changed. It is not a thought or a concept, but reality. That is OK.
You are going to be fine. Just remember a couple of things that you, I am sure, are already doing:
Sip, Sip, Sip, Sip
and
walk, walk, walk, walk
Keep moving, keep sipping. The weight will come off, you will hit your goal, and your life WILL be better than you could have hoped, dreamed, or thought possible.

I have not had my surgery yet. But I do recall the surgeon telling the group at the information meeting that you are not to expect a huge weight loss for a couple of months because your body is healing. This will catch up with you and you will ose the weight. Hang in there! Stay positive! And... feel free to talk to your Dr. and express your concerns.
