Just saw my surgeon. 6 months presurgery requirement has been met. Did the psych eval. PCP, cardiac approval. Had the EDG and the colonoscopy. I'm ready. His nurse is submitting to my insurance next week. Then I get my date. Hopefully, it will be the first week in March.

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Thanks guys!!! I can't believe you all replied. Tracey, surgical coordinator is submitting for approval from insurance. Cross you finger.

If I have to wait until April, I will be a little bit pissed, but a lot more okay with the time to get used to what's expected post op.

I want to start out right on my diet/excersie routine - but can't lose weight until after Insurance approves me.

P. S. I have 18/20 pants and 2x tops. I'd rather they go (free) to our members rather than Goodwill. Clean, great condition!

Let me know if you can use them.
