Hi All, This is my very first thread….I have read others and reply to some, but the postings have kept me going with much hope! Well I got my date yesterday. February 20th, like most I’m tickled pink, but very scared. I haven’t been in the hospital since my son was born 26 years ago, so the unkown is what is really scaring me. I have to start my liquid diet on February 6 and my pre opts on the 14th….yes Valentine day. Thanks everyone for sharing the good and not so good….it really helps knowing other can feel both you successes and your downs! Thanks again!

I'm soooooooo happy for you!!!!  Being scared is very normal for a lot of people. I too hadn't been in a hospital since my daughters birth but everything was just fine. yay!!! glad you got your date!! I'm on day 9 of my liquid diet - it's supposed to be 14 days, but I got a 1/31 date (due to a cancellation) on 1/19 - so mine is actually 12 days. I've been doing well with it!! just don't forget to bring your lunch shake to work like I did today!!
