Angry sore throat....

my surgery is scheduled for Tuesday morning at 10:30 and I have a sore throat!! I've emailed my pcp and my surgeon for to let them know and to see if I need to be seen - I'm less than 48 hours from surgery, I really don't want anything to delay it!!! I'm pretty sure the sore throat is from post nasal drip, but don't want to take any chances.

Please keep me in your thoughts that a stupid sore throat doesn't delay my surgery!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

I'm pushing fluids and gargling with warm salty water. I hope one of the docs gets back to me.

If you don't have a fever they will most likely go on with the surgery

Tricia, ditto what Nell said. I got a bad cold right before surgery and had the same fear of a postponement. My surgeon said it was go as long as I wasn't running a fever.
Let us know how you are doing and hugs.

Tricia, Are you allowed to take Airborne? I really like that for preventing the cold from getting worse and shortening it. They have chewable tablets now in case you don't want to take the fizzy stuff. Good luck. Hugs.
