Hi,
I am new to the forum and looking forward to learning a new lifestyle and taking back my life. I have so many questions on this new journey. I thought it was time to quit lurking, now that I have had the surgery. I had Gastric Bypass on Friday January 27th and just got home from the hospital Monday. I am a little sore but very glad that I made the decision.
Thank You for providing so much needed information both before surgery as a lurker and now as a member. It has been so helpful and educational. I am a 42year old wife and mom to 3. My oldest Son 19, is away at college. I have a 17 year old son with ASD and a budding future Chef. Then a 15 year old daughter that makes me smile everyday.

I can imagine its hard dealing with the child with ASD, I have 2 children that are ASD, its frustrating at times, but as they get older I sure hope it gets a lil easier, mine are 12 and 14, and my oldest is 22 in college, hes away from home and he was a great big help while I was in the hospital and when i came home... But chin up and things will improve, remember a day at a time. and if u forget we are here to remind u, sip, sip sip
