I had surgery Feb 1st, around 7am. Everything went perfectly, no complications. Same day recovery wasn't bad at all, same night recovery wasn't bad, but not that great. Yesterday was a little rough, & last night kinda rough but manageable. Today has been just fine.
I still have tons of gas in me & that's the only thing that's been a 'problem' (more like annoying). My back also hurts, but that's because I slept in the recliner last night. My icsions pretty much only hurt when I stand up, or sit down.. but that's obviously expected.

I'm having a difficulty getting in all the liquids I need to but trying my best. But what I'm most excited about is I'm less than 100lbs away from my goal weight!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Congrats! Sounds like about right to me. Keep walking and sipping... rest whenever you can. Sounds like you still have gas inside working its way out from the surgery. (But I am not "medical" just talking from experience.)
Now you are ready to begin a most wonderful adventure. WTG!

Just wanted to do another follow up post being the website is back up and running.

Its been a week tomorrow since I had surgery and I'm doing great! All together I've lost 26lbs. I'm still sleeping in the recliner, however last night I moved to the couch finally and it was okay; I'm just ready to be back in my bed with no pain or discomfort. THANKFULLY, most of the gas in me is gone (still occasional farting & burping). For people scheduled for surgery, this is one thing I wasn't fully aware of: the gas inside you from when they basically blow your stomach up for surgery. The gas will make you VERY uncomfortable (when I laid down too long, the gas moved to my chest, making it difficult to breath.) Just listen to your nurse; When they say walking will help, it truly will.
When I leave the house, I usually just wear a zip up hoodie & shorts... Well, today I put on the hoodie & I could tell its about time for a new one already. it's not too big, but it's definitely looser. So I decided I'll go buy a new one this weekend as another step to being my new self.
I finally got back behind the drivers seat two days ago and it was okay, definitely won't be making any long trips soon.
I went to Bestbuy today and I was having difficulties keeping up with how fast the saleslady was walking LOL. I'm still in a little discomfort but that's obviously expected considering I'm six days out of surgery.

All in all, I'm still 110% happy with the surgery.
Also thank you for the support, everybody!
