Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Im Back HI ALL FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO MIGHT REMEMBER ME. LAST AUGUST I WAS TRYING TO MAKE THE DECESION OF SURGERY OR HAVE AN OTHER BABY FIRST. SO I WENT ALONG WITH THE IDEA OF HAVE AN OTHER BABY FIRST. BUT UNFORTUNETLY THAT STILL HASNT HAPPENED YET AND I HAVE GAINED 30 LBS AND IM VERY MISERABLE. I HAVE TROUBLE WITH MY BACK, THE RIGHT HEEL OF MY FOOT AND JUST PLAIN OUT OF SHAPE WHERE I CANT KEEP UP WITH MY 1 YEAR OLD. SO I DECIDED AND MY DR AGREED TO DO THE SURGERY NOW!!! SO IM BACK I WENT AND MADE THE FIRST STEP AND SAW A SURGEON ON MONDAY( the best dr and staff i have ever met. they told me to lay back and relax and they will take care of all the insurance headaches and requirements from other dr.'s) AND NOW IM LIKE A KID WAITING FOR CHRISTMAS. BUT WHEN I GET MY MIND MADE UP THERE IS NO STOPPING ME. I MET MY SURGEON FOR THE FIRST TIME ON THE 4TH AND ALREADY I HAVE GOTTEN A LTR FROM MY PRIMARY DR, SEEN THE PSYCHOLOGIST, GOT A LETTER FROM WEIGHT WATCHERS AND CURVES AS FAILED ATTEMPTS TO PAST DIETS, GOT MY CONSENT SIGNED & NOTARIZED, WENT THRU A STRESS TEST AND SEEN THE ENDOCRINOLOGIST AND TODAY IS ONLY THE 8TH (alot done in a few days, lol), TO ADD TO ALL THAT I HAVE THE PULMONARY DOC APPT ON THE 22ND @ 2PM AND THE CARDIOLOGIST ON THE 22ND AT 9:30AM, (couldnt get anything sooner than the 22nd, lol) THE NUTRITIONIST ON THE 14TH AND THEN BACK TO THE SURGEON FOR THE 2ND VISIT ON THE 19TH TO GET A TENTATIVE SURGERY DATE. I GUESS YOU CAN TELL IM ANXIOUS AND EXCITED. I WAS TOLD I SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH MY INS SINCE I HAVE GREAT INS AND THEY USUALLY APPROVE EVERYONE. I JUST HOPE I DONT HAVE ANYTHING TO HOLD UP THE SURGERY. I DONT THINK I SHOULD I DONT REALLY HAVE TO MANY MED PROBLEMS AS FAR AS I KNOW. WISH ME LUCK I WILL KEEP YOU ALL POSTED!!!! I CANT WAIT TO TELL YOU ALL I HAVE MY DATE AND IM GOING IN FOR SURGERY. IVE ENJOYED ALL YOUR THREADS ON THE POST ESPECIALLY THE BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES THAT REALLY GAVE ME A POSITIVE OUTLOOK. Dam, Im Like Obsessed With This Procedure!!! This Is All I Do All Day Is Read These Forums And Think About It. I CANT CONCENTRATE ON ANYTHING ELSE IN MY LIFE, WHICH IS NOT FAIR TO MY DH AND DAUGHTER. I HaTe Not Knowing. I Wish I Could For Tell The Future!!! Thats One Bad Think About Me I Hate Not Knowing, Esp When My Mind Is Soooo Made Up.
