Default my last supper....

Well, my last supper eating anything I want. It was tonight since I go on total liquids tomorrow. I expected to be some kind of an idiot and eat a bunch of stuff that I knew I shouldn't. I dreamed about this meal all week. My husband and I planned it in advance and he took all the pressure off by telling me to order anything I like and he wouldn't say a word because I would never eat like this again.

So what did I do? I was a complete IDIOT! I ordered grilled mahi mahi, steamed veggies (broccoli, carrots and yellow squash and NO potato), and a salad. My only real 'indulgence' was blue cheese dressing (on the side thank you) and a garlic parmesan bisquit. While hubby was enjoying a hugh piece of key lime pie, I indulged in a large mug of coffee with half and half.

Now, I feel absolutely great about it and am wondering why I didn't go nuts and go for the fried entree with fries and a monster piece of chocolate cake. I have to say that my stomach is thanking me very much right now even though it will hate me tomorrow since I am only going to feed it protein shakes and jello! Oh well, you can't please everybody!

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

My last supper was at olive garden....all the pasta and bread i could eat..lol....

We get so worried we will never be able to taste these foods again when in reality we can, just in much much smaller amounts.

Best of luck to you.

((HUG)))
enjoy before you go on your liquids.
I am thankfully glad i had to loose
pre op weight so that i didnt go into
any sort of LAST SUPPER MODE (knowing me
it would have gone on for weeks during the
pre op appointments) and gain 20 lbs more.

HAVE fun.....
and remember at some point you will be able to
eat most of your favorite foods but in smaller
portions. and in moderation. I also now have new favorite foods!!!!

YOUR date is just around the corner now!
KEEP up the great pre op work

My last supper was at this little hole-in-the-wall caribbean restaurant where I ate fish with caribbean rice and black beans. I think mentally you just get "there" and while you may splurge some, it's not like it used to be. After dinner with friends we listened to some live music, walked along the shore at sunset. Awesome night, but it wasnt the food that made it awesome -- Oh, boy, the liquid thing. Now is where things really hit me as OMG this is really happening!

You did fine. Mentally you were probably all ready in mind frame of eating
healthy. I had gone to Red Lobster for my last supper. I had gotten shrimp, fried of course, but then I too declined on the desserrt. So I think mentally alot of us are prepared for what we are getting into.
Best of luck with your surgery!!!

I did not have a last supper! I was too excited to get started - I wonder do I miss the fact that I did not have one!
