| So last night I went to dinner with hubby to have my last meal before starting a liquid diet for two weeks today. I was very good and made very good choices. What I am so angry about is that I spent the whole night getting up and running to the bathroom with THE RUNS! You would think that I wouldn't have had such a bad reaction when I was very careful about what I ate. I should have just opted for all the junk I could get in me! Of course I would have regretted that today but sometimes you just wonder when there will actually be a payoff for always doing the right thing? Just once I would have liked to have had a simple meal with no reaction and the next day not be having the residual effects because I am still running to the bathroom about every 30 minutes. Oh well, I guess I just wanted to vent. Thanks for listening. |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | So sorry hun that you are having a rough time. I totally understand. As the days go pass it will get easier. I think the closer we get to finally doing what is right and we know what will be a life time change for us, we tend to stress a little bit more. I know I was in stressing out a couple of days ago. Keep your head up and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

| Super Moderator | Awww, ((((((HUGS))))))) Hang in there, it will be another day today. Seriously, though, are you sure it wasn't a form of food poisoning, and not just something not agreeing with you? Summer's the likeliest time of the year for something like that to happen, so, might be best to check things out there.

| And kick it in the butt! Tell your body that help is coming and that you are taking steps to make changes that will fix things so that your beautiful, sacred body no longer is so overstressed from weight and no longer will your body have to deal with anxiety, fear, disappointment, and stress by rapidly eliminating it's energy source. No longer will these foods irritate your body. Once you lose enough weight, your body's "balances" will readjust and outside of high sugar things and high fat things that would give a similar reaction, most foods will not give you "grief".... Console your body, gf... help is coming! take that negative and cover it up with a positive... not only was this the last meal before surgery, that was the last meal with that reaction! Celebrate! No more evenings like that! Now go to the pictures section in the forum listing and look at allllll the before and after pictures. That is what I am doing when I get down. I then get excited and feel supported. hugs, Fre

| Thanks everyone, that was just what I needed to hear. Doc, I gave it most of the morning to be sure and there is no more problem so it wasn't food poisoning, it was just me and my reaction to food that I shouldn't react to. Well, no more. After surgery, I won't get sick from eating the right food anymore! Only if I am stupid will I pay! |
