Default While on vacation...

I will be hitting the 6 week mark during my vacation. I am now on the soft food diet and have tolerated everything I have tried really well. I mainly eat chicken and fish. I am headed to Myrtle Beach, SC and I was just wondering what hints anyone would like to share for this time? I mean, I am a seafood eater, but it has always been popcorn shrimp. I also like flounder, but we are supposed to stay away from fish with bones? How do I figure out what is what and what I should try? We have an efficiency room and plan to eat breakfast and lunch in, but want to go out for dinner (which will probably be my breakfast and lunch.) Any advice appreciated.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

ummmm, i think you an have fish as long as it flakes???? you might want to avoid the bones, but they usually fillet them, right? (not a big fish eater) to be honest, i never tried anything away from home lol! but im a big fraidy cat. if you are adventurous try something REALLY close to the textures you have done ok with.

sorry i couldnt add more. i hope your trip goes well. please let us know when you return

Do you like crab legs or lobster? MMMMM I love them. Can you tolerate salads yet? Luckily I did that early out. Prime Rib is verrry soft beef since its slow roasted. Good luck. We vacation alot in the summer and while Im further out than you its still been hard but not impossible.

I had some yummy mini crab cakes a week or so ago.... Well, ok, I had one for dinner and one for later. But darn they were good! And I've had Subway's seafood salad stuff.

Shrimp has really been my friend here for a while...not fried of course, but grilled and even just cooked and chilled, like shrimp cocktail wise. I haven't done well with chicken, so I tend to stick to seafoods. Good luck and have a great trip!!!

Any kind of soft flaky fish, shrimp, lobster (not a fav of mine) as long as it is not fried. You can't go wrong.

Have fun
