Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hi, welcome to the board. ((((((HUGS)))))) to you.
I'm here to do some medical support.

I believe just about everyone who has this surgery goes through some degree of depression at one time or another. Some early on, some late on, some very serious, some not so. (For the matter, just about all patients who've had major surgery does, not just WLS) You've made a major change with your body, and you are now heading for a major change in your lifestyle, so no wonder.
As christyblue said, just watch it that it doesn't get too bad, and since your surgeon isn't going to be there for you, strike up a good rapport with your PCP. Also, even if your local support group has been cancelled, isn't there another one you can go to? Or start meetings with others who have been left out in the cold? I sure hope you'll be able to find something.

Sorry, not much of a help where suppliments are concerned, since likes of tastes differ with everyone. I do hope you will take a look into our eStore, though, as it helps in supporting this site.

May your journey go well, more (((HUGS))) to you.

hope to get to know you better through chat and posts

Hey litlms, I am going through a bit of the depression too. I can totally relate to being sick of the foods you are allowed to eat. I too was in denial about how bad my habits really were. This has been a huge adjustment for me to try to get used to. I keep trying to tell myself that even if I don't loose it as fast as I think I should, that it will work and it will all be okay sooner or later. Just try to hang in there with me and we will pull through it together.
Janae
ps. don't be afraid to vent, right now it is one of the only things you have since food isn't an option.
