Hi all......I'm new here, but have been watching for a while. I just got a call....they are moving up my surgery date to TUESDAY (July 24). Now it is hitting me....I'm really gonna do this  but I'm a little overwhelmed (scared to death). Anyone remember the feeling??

Oh gosh do I remember the feelings!!!! I was VERY close to chickening out. But, it's a normal reaction. The weekend before I didn't do anything I was suppose to do, didn't clean house, laundry, nothing, almost like if I didn't do it, that day wouldn't come or something. So I stayed up til about 3am the night before trying to do all the things I needed to do. I had even wrote each of my kids a letter ~just in case~. It is a VERY scary thing, but it will be fine. Sending prayers up for a sucessful surgery and speedy recovery.

Been there and done that. Yes its very normal to be nervous. I was second guessing myself all along but then at the end I got nervous about my kids too. But in the end all was fine and Im so glad I did this. Its the best thing Ive ever done with myself. Its a journey but its so worth it. And dont worry we are all here for you for advise and help.
