| Please understand that I am only concerned and don't know anything about post-op but I have read so much and everyone says that hungry or not you really NEED to get your protein in every day or you will not heal properly and will continue to be tired. I don't have a clue like I said but I just thought I would pass the info along so you could maybe check with your doctor about not eating? Please get better soon. |

Yes you are right, it is very important to get protien in, but it would be a major no no to force food in. I make sure that everything I do eat is high in protien. will have a shake tomorrow. I will not force myself its to dangerous! Thanks for your concern!!!

| Super Moderator | With all the *beating* your body took recently, if you feel any hunger, it's most likely only in your head. Just take things as they are, and take things one day at a time. Glad to know you are feeling a tad better. ((((((HUGS)))))

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Keith Im still pre op but the post you just made you seemed to be a bit more relaxed and calm now. Thats great. What you ate was probally what you were advised to eat so that is great. My Surgeon told me I would eat like a bird and acutally forget to eat somtimes. Now that your taking in some foods like you are its gonna make you feel much better. We have all been so worried about you and now your doing better its a great relief. I would say its totally normal from what I have read here. You take care. |

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Keith I was like that in the begining too. Could barely get much in at all. And it certtainly gets better over time. Everyone kept telling me I ate like a bird. But your doing great. What you are getting in is high protien and that is good. So keep up the great work. so glad that your back on the boards and feeling well. |
