Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass |  Just an update Please forgive me if im posting this on the wrong message board, im still learning the ropes around here.. I just wanted to give a lil update from the other side of the ocean. I am 1 month and 6 days away from my ryn. Sept 11th cant come soon enough. I really wish it was here already. I just want to get over these pre surgery emotions. Im sure most of you have gone through them too. I've been having my good days and my bad days about the surgery. Good days= me looking forward to being healthy, being able to play with my kids for more then 10 mins at a time, not having to shop in the plus size section, just feeling good in my own body. Bad days= me freaking out about all the complications that can come from WLS. Of course I realize that the good outweighs the bad. Eh! I'll get over it eventually, right? LOL OH!! I hope ya'll dont mind me bragging a lil here. But I have some awesome news that I want to share with the world! I figured with my new Life starting soon. I should REALLY make it a New Begining. So after almost 10 yrs of me dropping out of high school. I went and took my GED last week*** Patting my back***. I wont have my results for atleast another 4 weeks. But I left that testing room with complete confindence.. Ok, I wont keep you all on here any longer. Thanks for listing to me. -Mary

I already have plans to start taking college classes in the spring. At times I dont know what im more excited about, my surgery or going to college(never thought I say that!) | Super Moderator  | Thanks for the update, hang in there, everything will turn out as it should. Think of this waiting time as a time to learn to be patient, you may need a lot of that while you are losing weight, actually. ((((HUGS))))
