My Cardio Dr.

I went yesterday to try to get my cardio clearance for my surgery. He said my EKG was good and my heart rate and BP were good but because I have had three surgeries this year and I am diabetic that he wants to be sure I have not had any silent heart attacks and just wants to be sure so I go to have a stress test next week. It's the stick me and pump me with meds one. Have any of you had this. It does sound scary. I hate getting meds I have never had before let alone isotopes I have bad reactions to meds sometimes. He said he thinks all will be well and as long as it is he will not see me back and send in my clearance from him and I will be on to the pulmonary Dr. next for that clearance and I also have the psychological eval next month too. I know one step at a time but some of these tests are scary. Like the scope ewww.. I have had many surgeries and these things scare me more then the actual bypass..(except maybe for that central line in the neck. I have had my thyroid removed and I am funny about my neck..lol) I was freaked out most of the day yesterday but I am ok today..

I havent but.......... I will tell you to let them know your concerns when you have this done. They Should treat you with kid gloves.

Ps My hubby had his Thyroid taken out last June due to Thyroid cancer so i know what your going through getting that regulated. Bless ya heart.
