Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  Wanted to say Hi, new to site! Hello all, my name is Renee', I have been on this site for about three weeks. I can't tell you how much I have learned in that time. The people on here are so supportative. This site is so inspirnational. Up until now I have just been reading alot and commenting on posts. I am from just outside of Phila, I am scheduled to have surgery Sept 17. Yesterday I had my pre-admission testing and my final nutritional consult. I have been on this journey since Feb. and am looking forward getting the tool that will help me stop the madness YO-YO dieting. We all know how to loose weight but keeping it off is another subject. One last final hurdle, insurance approval. My doctor's protocall is to have all of the testing, sleep study, cardio, psych, then set surgery date then submit for approval. I saw the nurse yesterday in the Dr. office and she has indicated all results and informationn (comorbities) previous weight loss attemps etc... have been submited, for percert by the hospital then all went to the insurance company, she said I should know by weeks end. From her mouth to God's ears. So thats my story. We all have different stories but so many common threads that binds us. Thanks All
