Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass  |  New to this site Hi, I'm new to this site. I had surgery July 10. My weight prior to surgery was 258, as of today it is 228.5. My major problem seems to be stomach acid. Can anyone help me?

Weight Loss Method Roux en Y Gastric Bypass | Welcome. I just joined recently myself. It's addicting.  As far as the stomach acid, when I had my surgery my doc put me on a pepcid 2 times a day for the first few months. I never had a problem with it. Good luck.

If not, that's the first thing to do. Even if you've been instructed to take some meds, sometimes, they don't work for you, so you may need to have it changed.
