|  I am new here, HELP ME PLEASE!  I just got my official approval Friday! I am clear for surgery. My problem is I have to wait now until October 16th. My husband and I are taking our 2 girls to Disney World the end of September, so I needed to push out my surgery until after we come back. I am scared but yet excited. I can't wait for the end result, to have back my freedom of choices, freedom to feel gorgeous without having to buy my clothes in the "fat people section" If there is anyone out there who has any hints or suggestions no matter how small or big please send them my way as to before my surgery during the hospital stay and the after. I would appreciate it greatly and I hope to hear from you all soon.

welcome! congrats on the date! its normal to feel the way you do. i think if you didnt we might be a bot concerned  suggestions...hmmmm. take it easy. do whatever your dr says. no matter how you feel in the hospital, get up and walk. and when you get home, dont concentrate on anything but sip sip sipping. god luck on your journey!

I'm still new at the WLS thing but if you have any questions about Disney let me know - it's right around the corner, so to speak, and we've been there umpteen times! For example, if your girls are young (say 2-10ish) the princess breakfast or breakfast in the castle is awesome and the characters are numerous and come around to every table and sign autographs. Its still really hot so bring shorts and sunscreen! Have fun!
