Default 1 month checkup...

I went yesterday to my one month checkup. I lost 1 1/2 lbs. What a disappointment. I was so exhausted the last week and a half that I didn't excercise or drink right. My doctor said that happens sometimes. That when I get tired I need to exercise not sleep. I left his office and joined a gym with a pool. My kids ages 6 and 10 are going to get me up each morning at 5:00 so we can be at the pool at 5:30. Last year my son did this so we could go a personal trainer together. Swimming will make a big difference. I have to lose 35 more by Nov. 6th. I walked 1 mile today. Ugggg...Thanks for letting me ramble. You all have a great evening. Tina

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Hey it's all right my frirnd who had the bypass on August 6 2007 she hasn't lost anything since the day of surgery. However, this week we walked and walked and she excited to go to the next doctor's appointment because now she says her pants are falling off... so just a word of encouragement.......

Ouch, (((((HUGS))))) You do need to exercise to kick your body into losing often. Just be sure you are cleared for gym and swimming by your surgeon, since you are still only a month out, keep in mind your innards are still healing, and too much pressure in your tummy area can cause hernias and such.
Wishing you the best.

I am right there with you on the loss! It is so aggrivating! I walk a mile or more everyday and I am ready to see the scale moving more! I have only lost about 10 lbs in 4 weeks (2 lbs here and there)! YIKES!

I know it's easier said than done, but it WILL come off. It just doesn't ever seem to do it like we want it to. Keep your head up, do what you have to do, and it will come off. How could it not? We're eating healthy, eating MUCH less, exercising. How could we NOT lose? Your body is just trying to catch up to everything.

Thank you everyone for the support. Sometimes I feel like an alien with my friends. My emotions are so wild and they try to be there but it's not the same as someone who has been there. You all are so great!!!!
