It will get better soon. And you will have to force yourself to eat, I promise! I threw a fit over a sugar free fudgesicle at your phase and when they went out and got me a box, I couldn't eat but a few bites. Head hunger is 1/2 the battle.

Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

Congrats on a successful surgery. Everyone is different, but you will figure it out.

The head hunger will get better. After all these years of us being overweight and our bad habbits they are still there even though we have this new tool. ITs alot to deal with mentally some days. Hang in there and its so worth it. Im 5 months out and so
happy I have done this.

Congratulations on a successful surgery. I was supposed to be on full liquids for two weeks after my surgery, but I had that "hungry" feeling too -- although it wasn't a "big appetite"; I think it was just more that I wanted something to "chew" not sip. So I started my soft foods a week early and have been doing find ever since. I only eat a little and am very satisfied with what I have -- and I've been lucky because in a way I get "hungry" not exactly like it was pre op -- a growling lion wanting to be fed -- in post op its been more like a house cat meowing for dinner!

Check with your doctor, maybe you can try some real soft foods like cream of wheat or oatmeal?

I had a rough one tonight. My sugar bottemed out on me and I felt I needed to eat something Besides my 1 teaspoon. I rubed my finger across some frosting trying to raise the sugar and ended up feeling guilty power walked 30 min haha. I dont feel hungry I just get cravings . That is the hard part.
