Alt Weight Loss Surgery Insurance
Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery.
Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.

How is your VB12 level? Along with anemia, lack of B12 also can cause neuropathy.
Another thing is copper, there are recent reports that say lack of can cause neuropathy as well.
Good luck with your neurologist visit.

Default Peripheral Neuropathy

Doc

Thank you for the reply, I just had my blood work done. And yes there was a B12 and iron deficiency. I take a sublinguel B12 complex as well as vitamins. My family has a hx of iron deficiency, I will double the B12 and take a good iron. What is a good source for maximum absorbtion?

VB12 shots might be the best bet for you. As for iron, check into supplements that are developed specifically to meet the needs of bypass patients, such as the ones in our eStore. They are pricey, but in the long run, if they prevent further problems, they will be inexpensive investments.

Also, another idea is to use iron and copper skillets, pans and kettles for cooking, the very very minute amount that dissolves from such utensils into the food actually helps in preventing deficiencies. I know it's kinda bothersome taking care of such utensils so they don't rust, but the end result might be well worth the effort.
