My surgery is scheduled for October 1st and I am excited. I also have some concerns and questions. Reading everyones accomplishments helps but I wonder if I should be reading about the problems that are occuring with people post op. I want to be informed but I don't want to worry myself sick before the surgery either. I would like to keep a journal of my post surgery, how do I do that? I plan on using this site daily after surgery if not before. I want to thank everyone for being there as for me in advance. I can tell this site is "where it's at" Thanks Laurie  |

Yes, you can often get insurance cover for your Weight Loss Surgery. Our own Craig "Big-T" Thompson has been there and done that, and he's written an e-book about it.  |

i guess you should read EVERYTHING you can get your hands on; good or bad. as for the journaling it is DEFINITELY a good idea. they offer a blog feature on here and there are others on the nest as well. or you could do it the good ole fashioned way with pencil and paper  this site is definitely somewhere i go EVERYDAY, sometimes ALL DAY. its therapy for me and others i am sure. its like having a support group meeting and not having to go anywhere! LOL. welcome to the boards!

I suggest to read read and read some more!!! lol Yes, reading about the problems that others have had post-op can makes things a little more scary, but you want to go into this knowing all you can.
